Shreeshankar Bodas Presented WNCG Student Leadership Award

The prestigious and coveted WNCG Student Leadership Award was presented to Shreeshankar Bodas at the Spring Social on April 30, 2010. An outstanding WNCG student since 2005, Shreeshankar has excelled as scholar, community leader and organizer.

Shreeshankar has been a regular poster presenter, an important role in showcasing research to our industrial affiliates, as well as our academic colleagues.

Shreeshankar played a significant role in organizing WNCG events, such as the Seminar Series, Board Meetings, Wireless Summit and Open House, in addition to his assistance with Winedale. Due to his participation and promotion of student and faculty seminars, thesis proposals and thesis defenses, he has helped to foster a collaborative, friendly, and academically exciting atmosphere that helps WNCG thrive.

Shreeshankar has been a huge contributor to the academic and collegial life of WNCG. As EURECA advisor, he has provided a strong role model to undergraduate students who are potential WNCG students, and he has informally advised and encouraged fellow WNCG students.

We wish Shreeshankar success and all the best as he assumes a post-doc position with Devavrat Shah at MIT.
