Students and Faculty Enjoy WNCG 2010 Spring Social

WNCG students, faculty, visitors and staff came together for the annual WNCG Spring Social on April 30 at the UT Student Underground. There was something for everyone. Faculty and students alike enjoyed bowling and billiard games. Prof. Sanjay Shakkottai was hard to beat at air hockey, but Prof. Gustavo de Veciana was a worthy competitor. The “glow-in-the-dark” bowling was popular and a first-time experience for many. As is the case with most student events, the food didn’t last long, and when WNCG Director, Jeff Andrews encouraged all to have an ice cream, they did!

The Spring Social is always a reminder that old friends are leaving which makes way for new beginnings. We wish our departing students well, as they embark on the bright future ahead.
