Dallas-based subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., has recently become an Industrial Affiliate sponsor of the Wireless Networking and Communications Group (WNCG) at The University of Texas. Samsung Telecommunications America researches, develops and markets wireless handsets and telecommunications products throughout North America. In joining WNCG, Samsung Telecommunications America gains direct access to research results and expertise of 16 faculty in electrical and aerospace engineering and computer science, as well as over 140 graduate and undergraduate students working in diverse areas of wireless communications.small;'>'Samsung can benefit greatly from the strong academic research program that WNCG provides, and we look forward to a long-term relationship with The University of Texas,' said Dr. Farooq Khan, Senior Director of the Standards RF Lab.
