Prof. Andrea Thomaz Presents Robotic Healthcare Assistance Technologies at stARTup Studio

Prof. Andrea Thomaz, associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, appeared at stARTup Studio to present Diligent Droids, a company that seeks to provide aid to healthcare providers through robotic technologies. Thomaz said she hopes to apply her research in the field of artificial intelligence to help healthcare providers with their service. Prof. Thomaz joined Texas ECE in January 2016. US News Ranks Four Schools, 50 Programs at UT Austin Among the Nation's Best

AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas at Austin’s graduate schools in engineering, law, education and nursing are ranked among the Top 15 in the nation, and the university’s accounting program is No. 1 in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 edition of “Best Graduate Schools,” released this morning.
