Prof. Sriram Vishwanath Selected for Samsung GRO Program

Prof. Sriram Vishwanath’s proposal on Designing Sparse Regression Codes and Non-Binary Spatially Coupled Codes for Enabling High Gain Low Latency 100G Wireless Communication was selected for the 2015 Samsung Global Research Outreach (GRO) Program.

The GRO Program invites the world’s leading universities to propose innovative research ideas, which are evaluated for their novelty and alignment with Samsung’s research fields. Selected proposals are sponsored for one year, with funding available up to $100,000. The program is designed to foster collaboration between industry and academia and to build mutually beneficial research relationships.
