Former Postdoc Accepts Faculty Position at Tel-Aviv University

Former WNCG Postdoctoral Researcher, Dr. Yakir Hadad, recently joined the faculty in the School of Electrical Engineering and the Department of Physical Electronics at Tel-Aviv University in Israel. His role as a tenure track Senior Lecturer is the equivalent of a tenure track Assistant Professor in the United States’ academic system.

Prof. Robert Heath Awarded Most Attended Industry Panel Award from GLOBECOM 2016

Robert Heath, Texas ECE professor, has received the IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM) 2016 Most Attended Industry Panel Award. Heath was recognized for his panel “Millimeter Wave vs. Below 5GHz Massive MIMO: Which Technology Can Give Greater Value?," which he co-organized and moderated with Thomas Marzetta of Nokia Bell Labs.
