Jon Tamir Named Inaugural Oracle Research Fellow

WNCG faculty member Jon Tamir has been named among the inaugural cohort of Oracle Research Fellows. The Oracle Research Fellows program identifies potentially transformative research proposals from current and future research luminaries, and provides them with the funding, Oracle Cloud computing and collaborative opportunities they need. Tamir will work to develop fast, standardized MRI reconstruction methods for faster and cheaper diagnosis and monitoring.

Student Jason Soric Receives IEEE APS Honorable Mention

WNCG student Jason Soric received Honorable Mention in the Student Paper Competition at the IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and North American Radio Science Meeting. The symposium, which was held in Vancouver, Canada this summer, provides an international forum for the exchange of information on state-of-the-art research in antennas, propagation, electromagnetic engineering and radio science.
